Well...here goes !
The tip of the blade just barely touched his skin, slicing the air just as it missed.
The surprise attack caught him off guard and almost took his life.
The dodge made him lose his footing, causing him to collide with the ground.
The fall was greeted with massive applause from the colosseum fans.
The hero stood half standing, desperately trying to catch his breath and regain the lost momentum. Fighting to regain his head.
This was the closest brush with death. His strongest opponent yet.
He smiled to himself.
"Finally...the reaper's descend." With that, he lunged towards the contender.
Darkness shrouds those that fears it the most. The brave will bask in the light of audacity.
